By Staff Report-

WABASH – Country singer/songwriter Travis Tritt will be making his way to the Honeywell Center’s Ford Theater at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 29.

Tickets are $75, $45 and $35. Corporate Sponsorship is provided by Brandt’s Harley-Davidson.

More than 25 years after Tritt launched his music career, the Grammy award-winning artist continues to sell out shows, top sales charts and stay true and relevant to country music fans across the globe, according to a news release from the Honeywell Center.

On the heels of sold-out shows throughout his solo acoustic tour and amid a heavy tour schedule that takes Tritt and his band across the country to play for packed-out crowds, the Southern-rock influenced country artist topped the SoundScan Top 200 Catalog Country Albums chart for 50-consecutive weeks.

A Marietta, Ga. native, Tritt is dubbed one of “The Class of ‘89,” which included Country music superstars Garth Brooks, Clint Black and Alan Jackson; all of whom dominated the charts in the early ’90s.

Among his 11 studio albums and numerous charted singles are 19 Top 10 hits, including “Modern Day Bonnie and Clyde,” “Here’s A Quarter” and “It’s A Great Day To Be Alive.”

His 25-year career has produced millions in album sales, two Grammy award wins and multiple No. 1 singles on the country radio charts. On Nov. 18, Tritt is set to release a special live 2-disc CD and DVD, titled “A Man and His Guitar – Live From The Franklin Theatre.”

Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Steve Seskin will open the show for Tritt by performing a selection of songs he has written.

A longtime friend of the Honeywell Foundation, Seskin has gained success as with seven number one hits including Grammy-nominated “Grown Men Don’t Cry,” recorded by Tim McGraw, and “Don’t Laugh at Me,” which won the Nashville Songwriters Association International Song of the Year and Music Row Magazine Song of the Year in 1999, recorded by Mark Wills.

His other hits include “I Think About You,” “Life’s A Dance” and “No Doubt About It” and have become top sellers on the country charts.
