Creighton Featured In Exhibit

FORT WAYNE – Fort Wayne’s Castle Gallery Fine Art will host the National Oil and Acrylic Painters’ Society “Best of America” 27th National Juried Exhibit from Oct. 16 to Nov. 11.

Special NOAPS events will take place Oct. 17-21, including plein air workshops, gallery lectures, dinner with the artists and art demonstrations by NOAPS Master Artists.

A still life oil painting titled “Copper Plate” by local Warsaw artist Steve Creighton has been juried into the exhibit.  Creighton is also a member of Oil Painters of America and Hoosier Salon as well as several regional art guilds.

Paintings included in the exhibit are featured on a website at www.noaps.org/exhibitions. All paintings are for sale and available through Castle Gallery Fine Art through Nov. 11. The show also is featured in the October 2017 issue of “Southwest Art” magazine.

The opening reception and awards ceremony (sponsored by Terry and Sandra Tucker, Maple Leaf Farms and Wayne and Linda Boyd) will take place from 5 to 9 p.m. Oct. 20 at Castle Gallery, 1202 W. Wayne St., Fort Wayne.
