By Staff Report-
Improv is a form of comedic theater in which participants perform unscripted scenes, such as in the hit show “Whose Line is it Anyway?” Improv classes and training are also offered across the country not only to strengthen performers, but to develop communication and job skills.
Members of Everyone’s Tiffany, the Center Street Community Theatre improv house team, will instruct classes. Foundational skills taught in the course include: “yes, and,” character development, spontaneity and teamwork. Find out more information about Everyone’s Tiffany on Facebook and Twitter.
Improv classes will run from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts. Registration is $25 and participants will receive a copy of “Truth in Comedy: The Manual for Improvisation,” written by Charna Halpern, Del Close and Kim Johnson.
Participants must be 18 years or older to enroll and will be required to pay the $25 registration fee upon enrollment.
