“A Guide to the Teenage Zone” is a light-hearted look at teenagers who are still part child, yet emerging adults. A guide leads audiences into the everyday world of a group of teenagers starting early in the morning. Audiences follow them to school, back home again and end with late-night phone calls reviewing events of the day as a new dawn approaches. In eight scenes, audiences see sophisticated, yet simple interactive relationships working together and coming up with brilliant ideas and questions about life as they grow into adulthood, according to a news release from LCA.
In “Graduation for Dummies,” it's almost graduation day and Principal Pasey is confident that a group of near-high school graduates will manage to walk across a stage, shake hands and accept their diplomas. Just to make sure, she holds an assembly to explain the basics. But between displays of extreme stage fright, "creative" walking techniques, and a student who refuses to part with her air horn, it quickly becomes clear that the zany kids in this graduating class are nowhere near ready to don their caps and gowns, the release states.
Performances are at 7 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m. Saturday. Tickets will be sold at the door; adults are $6, students and senior citizens are $4 and preschoolers are free.
LCA is at 1093 S. CR 250E, Winona Lake.
