Tuxedo Junction's Big Band Concert At The Honeywell Center

WABASH – Tickets are on sale now for the Tuxedo Junction Big Band Concert and Dance scheduled to take place in Legacy Hall from 2 to 4 p.m. May 17 at the Honeywell Center.

Enjoy the sounds of the big band era featuring vocalist Ellen Mock. Tickets are $5 per person.

Tuxedo Junction is known for its big band sounds of the swing era and is the only regional big band group that has continued to perform for the past 41 years. Musicians from Peru, Logansport, Lafayette and Wabash make up this 11-member group. Swing tunes, ballads, smooth jazz and vocal arrangements highlight the versatility of the band. A dance floor is available for those who wish to “cut a rug” to the music.   

Tuxedo Junction will perform as part of the Honeywell Center’s Senior Outreach Program, geared specifically for seniors. The program provides activities that are presented at senior living facilities in a five-county region including,Wabash, Miami, Huntington, Grant and Fulton counties. Since the inception of Senior Outreach, over 2,500 seniors have participated.

Tickets for Tuxedo Junction may be purchased at the Honeywell Center Box Office from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, by calling 260-563-1102 or visiting www.honeywellcenter.org. This concert is open to the public.
