AKRON – Travel from a log cabin to the White House through a performance by Danny Russel.
He will bring his theatrical tour-de-force to the Akron Public Library with his uncanny likeness to Honest Abe, according to a news release from the library.
“Abraham Lincoln is both hilarious and heartbreaking as he recalls his boyhood years, prairie lawyer days, family life, political aspirations, Civil War tragedy and triumph and shares eloquent speeches, the release states.
The free event starts at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 9 at the Akron Public Library. Call 574-893-4113 to reserve a seat.
