By Staff Report-

Warsaw Performing Arts Center is continuing its 10th anniversary season with three International Barbershop Quartet Gold Medal Champions in a Night of Harmony at 7:30 p.m. March 4.
The Warsaw Community High School Select Women’s Choir and Select Chorale will be joining the stage during this evening.
Vocal Spectrum, Storm Front and Instant Classic quartets will be here for a “once in a lifetime show,” according to a news release from Warsaw Community Schools.
Vocal Spectrum has traveled to Germany, Holland, Sweden, Russia, England, Japan, New Zealand and throughout the United States singing for various shows and conventions as well as teaching high school students about barbershop harmony. Vocal Spectrum has sung for Russian and China National Television. Jim Henry and David Wright assist with coaching and arrangements for the quartet. All members of the quartet sing with the Ambassadors of Harmony (2004 and 2009 International Chorus Champions).
In July 2004, Vocal Spectrum won the 2004 International Collegiate Quartet Contest in Louisville, Ky. And on July 8, 2006, it won the coveted International Barbershop Quartet Contest, becoming the first quartet in history to win all three possible medals (Collegiate Quartet, Men's Quartet and Chorus Medal).
Storm Front had an unbelievable journey for the 2010 first-place International Quartet Champion, the release states. The 2002 Rocky Mountain District champs made nine trips to the international contest stage, including top 10 finishes each of the past six years. On July 3, 2010, after a week of competition against the best barbershop quartets in the world, Storm Front was awarded the elusive gold medal.
Instant Classic, the Barbershop Harmony Society’s 2015 International Quartet Champion, is composed of David (tenor), Theo (lead), Kohl (baritone) and Kyle (bass). They are four good friends with a passion for barbershop harmony, a cappella music and youth outreach. They perform a variety of music from several decades and styles, including vocal jazz, musical theater, pop and even R&B.
The quartet began singing together in college and first competed in the Barbershop Harmony Society International Collegiate Quartet Competition in 2009. The group has since become the 2011 Cardinal District Quartet Champions; the 2012 International Collegiate Quartet Silver Medalists; the 2012, 2014 and 2015 Cardinal District Quartet of the Year, and the group competed in Pittsburgh in the summer of 2015 and became the 2015 International Quartet Champions.
Get tickets by logging on to the Warsaw Performing Arts Center website at www.warsawpac.org or call the box office at 574-371-5040. Tickets are $30 for adults and $20 for students.
