The Round Barn Theatre At Amish Acres Announces 2017 Local Auditions

NAPPANEE – The Round Barn Theatre at Amish Acres, Nappanee, and Artistic Director Amber Burgess are seeking resident company members for its nine-month 2017 season of repertory theatre.
The company will include non-union actor/singer/dancers and technical staff. The 2017 season includes “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change,” “Plain and Fancy,” “Legally Blonde,” “Guys and Dolls,” “Sister Act,” “The Mousetrap” and Disney’s “The Little Mermaid.”
Repertory company members have roles in every production, with a few job-in actors filling ensemble slots in the season. Competitive industry pay, merchandise discounts, and discounted meals are provided, according to a news release from the theater.
The theater is especially seeking many different types of actors who sing and dance with ease and can play a wide age-range.
The call will be held by appointment only at The Round Barn Theatre, 1600 W. Market St., Nappanee, Feb. 25 and 26 from noon to 5 p.m.
Bring two contrasting musical pieces, a monologue, a headshot/resume and a list of possible conflicts for the year. An accompanist will be provided.
