Warsaw artist Steve Creighton was awarded first place for his still life oil painting “Foley Jug with Rose” (pictured) at the Honeywell Center Clark Gallery’s 2017 92-County Art Show in Wabash.  Judges for this year’s Show were Amanda Martin, Fort Wayne, and Elizabeth Goings, South Whitley. Best of Show winner was Martin Price’s pottery titled “Wood Fired Vase.” The show is celebrating its 24th year and will be on display through Feb. 27. Show sponsors Robert and Ines Gillespie will be on hand for the awards and reception at 7 p.m. Feb. 27 and the public is invited. Creighton’s studio and gallery are located in Warsaw. He recently was accepted for membership into Oil Painters of America. He also is a member of the Hoosier Salon and several Indiana art guilds and associations.
