Warsaw artist Steve Creighton has been notified by Oil Painters of America President John Michael Carter that his still life oil painting titled “Tres Rojos” has been juried into the OPA Regional Exhibition of Traditional Oils to be held at Anderson Fine Art Gallery in St. Simons Island, Ga., Nov. 17 to Dec. 16. Associate and Signature members’ artwork will be featured in the show with awards presented at an opening reception. Creighton was accepted as a member of OPA in December 2016. He grew up in the Warsaw area and majored in both art and business at Valparaiso University as an undergraduate and continued his art education with graduate art courses at Indiana University. His oil paintings have won numerous awards including multiple Best of Show distinctions. His website is www.stevecreightonart.com.
