SOUTH BEND - WNIT's annual Television Auction will air April 17 - 20 and April 24-27. The auction runs live from 8 to 11 p.m. on weekdays and from 5 to 11 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

WNIT is asking local businesses and organizations to donate their goods and services to be auctioned off during those times. If your company has items that you would like to see on the air, please contact Doris Ann Doyle, Auction Manger, at 574-675-9648 or by email at [email protected]

"We can use all types of things," Doyle said, "from vacation packages to refrigerators to oil changes. Many companies donate gift certificates for dining or other services. This is great chance for you to get your business' name out in front of the community while at the same time supporting public television."

This is the 33rd Auction at WNIT, carrying on an unbroken annual tradition that began in 1975 and complementing an equally proud tradition of community service. The Television Auction is the single largest fundraising event of the year for WNIT and is instrumental in making possible the quality programs that Michiana has come to expect from WNIT.
