On Sept. 26, Schrader Auto Parts held a retirement party for Ted Upson. Upson has been employed with the company since 1961. He has held several different positions in the company. Starting in 1961, he rebuilt radiators, then he acquired knowl-edge and moved up through the ranks from cutting glass to outside sales to counter sales. He spent five years delivering goods and taking care of customers. He worked in the Columbia City store for 15 of those years. Upson left the job market to travel in and around the United States and see the sights.[[In-content Ad]]
