A. Dean Timbers, Warsaw, will celebrate his 85th birthday Friday.
He was born March 20, 1930, in Rochester, the second son of Robert and Edna Timbers.
Dean served in the Korean War, where he was  awarded the Purple Heart.
He managed the Lake Theater from 1955 to 1970, where he met his wife of 45 years, Peggy.
Their daughters are Suzanne (and spouse John) Flory, Warsaw, and Kasey Zazarine, New Jersey, and his grandson is Jordan Timbers.
He retired from Owens-Illinois Kimble Glass in 2005 after 25 years of service.
