NORTH WEBSTER – Everyone is welcome to the Senior Primelife Enrichment Center’s “Music at the Center” 5 p.m. Aug. 12 at the North Webster Community Center.
Miller’s Merry Manor is providing a free picnic-style meal. Entertainment will follow dinner. First is Hannah Bushong, accompanied by her father Tim Bushong, who will play acoustic guitar and sing.
Second on the venue is karaoke by Reggie and George DeSmet. They love to sing “oldies but goodies” and get you rocking and singing along.
The only thing asked is that you bring a can or two for the North Webster Food Pantry. They always need to replenish their shelves, and with school starting they will need extra. Help SPEC help them.
The next casino trip to Four Winds is Aug. 18. The fee is $35 per person. There is a $15 e-play and a $10 food voucher as incentives from the casino.
Shuffleboard will be starting on Friday mornings from 9 a.m. to noon. If you are interested in playing, call Barb at SPEC at 574-834-1600, Ext. 4. Mah Jongg is played Mondays through Thursdays starting at 9 a.m. Everyday there is euchre and manipulation and on Tuesdays and Thursdays there is bridge.
Mark your calendars for the grand open house Aug. 23 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at North Webster Community Center. The SPEC room will be open and people will be doing all the things that they do daily.  Come observe and maybe you will want to join in on the activities.[[In-content Ad]]
