Kathleen “Katie” Shively,  of rural Leesburg, will celebrate her 90th birthday Jan. 6.

She was born Jan. 6, 1922, in Leesburg.

She married Max Shively at Leesburg Methodist Church. He is deceased.

She is a graduate of Leesburg High School.

She has been a farm wife her entire married life and is a member of New Salem Church of the Brethren.

She has two children, Dennis (and spouse Candy) Shively, Leesburg, and Doug Shively, Longview, Texas; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.[[In-content Ad]]
