RR Donnelley's Achieves Safety Milestone

RR Donnelley announced recently that the employees at its printing operations in Warsaw, Indiana have achieved more than a million working hours without a lost workday accident.

"Our employees continue to do a superb job of making safety the most important job at our facility. We regard safety as a key measure of operational excellence," said Joe Kingan, vice president of manufacturing for RR Donnelley's Warsaw operation. "Working with our environmental health and safety professionals, we have developed and integrated safety practices into our manufacturing, leadership and employee appraisal processes. We are extremely proud of the way that our employees look out for each others' safety and welfare."

Kingan added, "Continuous improvement is the hallmark of the safety processes that have become part of our culture. RR Donnelley dramatically outperforms the printing industry as a whole with regard to safety. Our employees, customers, community and company all benefit from our continuing emphasis on safety."
