REAL Services Offers Caregivers Series

If you are caregiving for an older adult, you will not want to miss “Lunch & Learn: Education for Caregivers” sponsored by REAL Services Inc. and Alzheimer’s Services.

This is a free series which allows busy caregivers to learn about many care-giving topics as well as network with fellow caregivers.

Monthly sessions are on the third Thursday of each month from 12:10 to 1:30 p.m.

The topics in the current series are: Thursday Economical, Healthy and Easy Meals for Caregivers; March 15, Forming an Effective Partnership with Health Care Facilities; April 19, Forming an Effective Partnership with Your Physician; May 17, Understanding Hospice Services; and June 21, How do I Help a Loved One Who Doesn’t Want Help?

All sessions are at Westminster Hall on the campus of Grace College, 105 9th St., Winona Lake. For reservations, call 574-284-7132 or toll-free 800-552-7928, Ext. 7132. A complimentary lunch, including beverage, will be provided to all informal caregivers who call for a reservation at least three days in advance.[[In-content Ad]]

Tiger Football Wins First Ever Regional Championship
History was made on two separate occasions at Fisher Field Friday night. The first was simple, as by having the game at home, the Warsaw Football team played host to a regional contest for the first time in school history.
