Penguin Point Names 'People Pleasers Of The Year'

Steve Devenney, chief operating officer, recently announced that Penguin POint Franchise Systems named the winners of the 20th annual People Pleasers of the Year.

The awardis given to one person in each restaurant in appreciation for consistent dedication to people pleasing for both customers and associates.

The associates in each restaurant vote for one person whoe attitude, dependability, initiative, quality of work, cooperation and customer relation skills best reflect the Penguin Point People Pleaser profile. This award includes a cash bonus, a People Pleaser plaque with a photo posted in the lobby and an honorary pin.

Kim Littlejohn

The People Pleaser of the Year winner from Penguin Point, Center Street, Warsaw, was Kim Littlejohn.

Littlejohn enjoys music, dancing and spending time with her family.

"Kim is a pleasure to work with," said manager Crystal Miller. "She is a vital asset to our store, we look forward to her long-term employment.

In the future, Littlejohn would like to spend her spare time traveling.

Katie Gear

The People Pleaser of the Year from Syracuse is Katie Gear.

Gear has been with Penguin Point for more than three years.

"She is a valued associate, always willing to help where needed," said manager Kelly Weed.

Gear enjoys drawing, painting and photography.

When not at work, Gear can be found hiking through wildlife parks, cooking or spending timwe with friends.

Gear's future plans include going to college to get a degree in radiology.

Jalessa Hendrickson

The People Pleaser of the Year winner from Penguin Point, Lake Street, Warsaw, is Jalessa Hendrickson.

"Jalessa is a great asset to the company, she is a joy to work with," said mamager Dee McKenzie.

Hendrickson has been with Penguin Point for nearly three years and hopes to move up to a management position.

When she's not scrapbooking or shoping, she enjoys listening to music, riding 4-wheelers and being with her family.

Pamela Miller

The People Pleaser of the year from Penguin Point, Detroit Street, Warsaw, is Pamela Miller.

Miller loves being a People Pleaser because she can meet and talk with the customers.

"Pam has been with us almost four years andis a delightful person to have on our team," said Paula Devenney, store manager. "She is always willing to do what's needed to get things done - with a smile."

Miller enjoys flower gardening, puzzles, games and being with her 11 grandchildren.[[In-content Ad]]
