Louise Peffley celebrated her 90th birthday Nov. 24, 2011, at Folly Beach, S.C., with 22 members of her family at a surprise birthday party hosted by her granddaughter.

She was born Dec. 10, 1921, in Culver, to Delbert and Bessie Wilson.

She lives at Grace Village in independant living. She is a member of Pleasant View Bible Church and volunteers for the American Red Cross blood drive. She has the heart of a servant.

She has four children: Sandra, George, Judy and Linda; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.
