Peabody Teams Up With Ivy Tech

North Manchester - Peabody Retirement Community, in conjunction with Ivy Tech - Warsaw is seeking 10 caring individuals who would like to become a certified nursing assistant.

Peabody Vice President, Chad Smyth said, "Becoming a CNA is a challenging and rewarding profession. We are seeking high school or GED graduates who desire a career in serving mature adults. Peabody and Ivy Tech will identify the exceptional applicants with Peabody underwriting the cost of the training for the student, which includes tuition, books, and personnel processing fees."

The Ivy Tech program lasts for three weeks and is comprised of classroom, on-site experience, and testing.

The first class of 10 will begin in the very near future.

Established in 1931, Peabody is fully licensed. The campus is comprised of 48 residences for memory enhancement (Alzheimer's/dementia), 144 long term care residences, 124 assisted living residences, and 57 independent living residences.
