She was hired Dec. 5, 1977, as a material handler in the pressroom and also worked in the bindery. In July 1993, she was promoted to an assistant catalog binding line team leader apprentice, completing the training program to journeyman in July 1996. In October 1999, she was promoted to preliminary/pre-press technician in the cylinder-making department, her current position.
