Norwood Tool Company, a premier contract manufacturer in Dayton, Ohio, since 1926, recently announced that as of May 5, 2008, they will be known as Norwood Medical.

"We have been focused on supplying single and multiple use instruments and implants to the medical industry for the last 30 years, so the change is long overdue," said President Ken Hemmelgarn.

Even though Tool is dropping from the name, the company believes it is critical to still be able to design and build dies, fixtures, gages, automation and tooling in-house to control quality and accelerate delivery schedules.
