Dana Leon, a partner with the Warsaw-based law firm of Rockhill Pinnick LLP, has received the registered domestic relations mediator designation.

A product of the Indiana Commissions for Continuing Legal Education, this registry is the result of intensive training and a course of study designed to provide trained and qualified family law lawyers to assist families in conflict. It is estimated that only 50-60 lawyers throughout Indiana have completed the special training required to receive the registered domestic relations mediator designation.

Leon said, "Becoming a registered Domestic Relations Mediator became a priority of mine. Many family law cases can be resolved through effective mediation, which takes training and commitment. I felt it was important not only for me professionally, but for the individuals and families involved in the process. As a family law lawyer, I see firsthand the problems and frustrations involved in family conflict. I want to do my part to help alleviate the conflict that is often involved in divorce and custody cases. Mediation will play an important part in successfully resolving many domestic relations cases and allow the parties the opportunity to maintain some control over the future of their families instead of leaving it up to the Court."

Rockhill Pinnick LLP is a full-service law firm, capable of handling the various legal needs of their clients. For more information, visit the firm's Web site at www.rockhillpinnick.com[[In-content Ad]]
