Tom and Sara Hawblitzel will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary April 13.
They were married April 13, 1975, in South Bend by the Rev. Ralph Moore Jones, U.M.
Tom is retired from sales with American Bolt and Screw, and Sara is a retired elementary teacher from Warsaw Community Schools.
They are the parents of one daughter, Debbie (and spouse Jim) Schultz, Franksville, Wis., and three sons: T.J. (and spouse Carol), Western Springs, Ill.; Gary (and spouse Pam) and Steve (and spouse Tracie), both of Warsaw. They have five granddaughters: Lucy, McKenna, Ella, Melaina and Rian, and also four grandsons: Cody, Andrew, Alex and Aarin.
The couple will celebrate with a trip to hawaii and a weekend with family at a later date.
