Hansen Takes Over Skate Center

Eastlake Skate Center, Warsaw, has a new owner/operator.

Trace Hansen, who has relocated from Mukilteo, Wash., purchased the business.

A competitive roller skater for nearly 30 years, Hansen was a police officer for Everett Police Department in the northern suburb of Seattle with about 100,000 residents before moving to the Warsaw area.

Hansen also has been a coach and professional, giving seminars and private lessons. Also, he competed in the World Class Pairs division at the national and international level. He competed in the World Class divisions in the elite level of skating with partner Kylee Berger, Seattle, for five years. Hansen and Berger qualified for the World Championships thre times by placing in the top three nationally.

Hansen will begin operating Eastlake Skate Center with a new scehdule beginning in October. Beginner classes for all ages will begin then as well as pre-school and toddler skate on Wednesdays. An after-school session on Wednesdays, an adults-only retro skate the third Monday of the month also are planned when Hansen takes over.[[In-content Ad]]
