Garman 85th Birthday

Margaret E. Chinworth Garman will celebrate her 85th birthday with an open house for family and friends Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at  the Atwood Otterbein United Methodist Church hall, 306 E. Main St.

Cards are welcome but please no gifts. All are welcome to come and celebrate with Margaret and her family.

She was born June 21, 1926, to Robert and Lillie McSherry Chinworth, Warsaw. In her family, she was the fifth of seven children (three boys and four girls).

She is a 1944 graduate of Warsaw High School.

On Jan. 3, 1946, she married Jack Garman of Atwood.

She has two daughters, Elaine D. Garman Fike, Georgetown, Del., and Barbara J. Garman Eyster, Durham, N.C.; six grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
She worked for many years at the Kosciusko County Auditor’s Office. She is also active in the Order of the Eastern Star and the Red Hat Society.[[In-content Ad]]
