FORT WAYNE - Janice Anne Cook, formerly of Warsaw, wanted to do something in honor of her son who has autism, so she decided to open a speech and language preschool for children ages 3-5. Hand In Hand Preschool, "A Language-Enriched Preschool," provides an environment that allows the teacher and therapists the opportunity to work individually with each child to strengthen their speech and language.

The preschool recognizes that each child has unique talents,

learning styles, and personalities and is committed to working within each child's comfort zone to ensure optimal social, emotional and educational results. A student education plan is created for each child and designed to meet each child's individual needs.

The preschool's primary mission is to foster a love of learning and work with each child. Hand in Hand Preschool for special-needs children fills a niche in the Greater Fort Wayne area with a curriculum tailored to the individual development of skills for the physically, emotionally and cognitively challenged preschool child.

Janice Cook's goal is to help strengthen the children's speech and language and be there for them during this time in their lives.[[In-content Ad]]
