On April 24, DePuy Orthopaedics Inc. hosted several New York City-area student volunteers as they visited Warsaw.

The students are members of Fresh Youth Initiatives, a service organization that provides after-school and weekend community service activities for inner-city kids, giving them a safe, structured place to spend their time outside of school.

In one year's time, the 18 students with the most number of volunteer hours get to go on "Trip USA." This year "Trip USA" travels to Northeast Indiana, which is considered the "orthopaedics capital of the world."

The student volunteers pictured above have volunteered a total of 15,624 hours.

"DePuy is pleased to host this group of student volunteers," said Roger Boggs, director of professional services. "They have demonstrated a commitment to their community by volunteering their time to assist with projects throughout the year, and it's great to share with them what it's like to be a part of the orthopaedics community.[[In-content Ad]]
