Da-Lite Screen Company recently announced the promotion of Dale Wine to Plant Superintendent of its Warsaw manufacturing facility.

In his new capacity, Wine will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the plant, focusing on scrap reduction and quality improvements in the projection screen and related product lines. Wine will also be working with the manufacturing night shift during transition hours to insure there is a smooth transfer of information from one shift to the next.

"It is a rare pleasure when you can promote an employee that has been with the company for 45 years," said Richard Lundin, Da-Lite Chairman and CEO, "Dale began his career at Da-Lite in 1962 as a cut table operator. Now his experience, skills and knowledge are being put to a broader use as Plant Superintendent."

After starting as a cut table operator, Wine worked in various Da-Iite departments and has been the Supervisor of the Cloth Department for over 20 years. "Dale brings with him a wealth of knowledge of not only fabric but product, product history, management and manufacturing practices," according to Judy Loughran, Executive Vice President of Da-Lite. "Dale is a great asset and we look forward to his continued contributions to the company in his new position."[[In-content Ad]]
