Da-Lite Taps Teevan For Executive Role

Da-Lite Screen Co. Inc. promoted Matthew J. Teevan to vice president and director of international sales from his previous position of director of international sales. In his new position, Teevan assumes an expanded role within the company, adding to the international sales responsibilities. His new role includes supervision of human resources at Da-Lite.

"Matt brings a wealth of international experience and perspective to his new position with the company," sad Richard Lundin, Da-Lite chairman and CEO, "As Da-Lite continues to grow internationally, we identified Matt as the natural selection for this position, based on his educational and sales experience. By including the reporting for human resources, Matt will be managing a critical segment of the company that adds to his Da-Lite management experience as we look to the future of the company."

A graduate of Furman University, Teevan, an Ohio native, started with Da-Lite as an internal sales partner in 2003 and began handling Da-Lite accounts in Europe and the Middle East in 2004. In 2004, Matt also was named to Da-Lite's strategic planning team.

Building on his international experience, Teevan was responsible for marketing from mid-2004 until 2006. As a part of Matt's personal and professional goals, he took a leave of absence to complete his advanced degree work at the University of Paris, La Sorbonne, in French language and civilization.

"The combination of Matt's international business savvy and educational experience provides Da-Lite with someone who understands our company, but more importantly, understands how the markets outside of North America function and their unique product demands," said Judith Loughran, executive vice president of Da-Lite.

As a part of his professional responsibilities, Matt has served on the IS China Exhibitors Committee and is currently serving on the Board of Directors for Integrated Systems Europe.[[In-content Ad]]
