"Today's announcement is another example of being responsive to our market(s) as well as our role of being a 'green' corporate citizen," said Judith Loughran, executive vice president of Da-Lite. "It is becoming more and more difficult for schools, businesses and entertainment venues to find a proper way to dispose of an old projection screen."
The program became effective Jan. 1 and is available throughout North America. Specific instructions on how customers can qualify for the Da-Lite Screen Green program will be posted on the company Web site by the launch date.
Details of the program will include a purchase/exchange provision. The customer will receive the necessary shipping materials to return the old screen to Da-Lite when the new screen arrives at the installation. It will be the customer's responsibility to ship the product to Da-Lite for recycling. The recycled screens can be sent directly to the company's headquarters in Warsaw.[[In-content Ad]]
