Noted RWI Racing team owner and NASCAR legend Rusty Wallace said, "We're very excited about our new partnership with Boss Hogg BBQ Products. They're a family-operated company that is looking to grow, so there are some real synergies between our organizations. The folks at Boss Hogg are very big fans of auto racing, so we're looking forward to having a lot of fun with them this year. At the same time, we're also excited, as we are with all of our partners, about doing what we can to help them reach their business objectives and drive their growth."
For 2007, the Boss Hogg logo will adorn the rear deck lid of RWI Racing's Dodge Chargers. In addition to their branding of the race vehicles, Boss Hogg also plans to leverage their new partnership in introducing their various products to the NASCAR community as a whole. Through events such as cookouts featuring the RWI Racing team and product sampling throughout the NASCAR industry, Boss Hogg hopes to combine their love of auto racing with their passion for BBQ products to create dynamic results.
Steve Sands, chief operating officer with Boss Hogg Inc., said, "The team here at Boss Hogg is very excited about our relationship with the entire Rusty Wallace organization. We made the decision to take Boss Hogg to the next step of national market penetration. The sponsorship with Rusty Wallace Inc. is part of the strategy to achieve broad national exposure. NASCAR is an incredible marketing machine that affords us the opportunity to leverage RWI's existing relationships to increase revenue across all product offerings, within the Boss Hogg family of products."
A subsidiary of Rusty Wallace Inc., Mooresville, N.C.-based RWI Racing LLC is a premier auto racing team competing full time in the NASCAR Busch Series.
