Isabel Kitson Bishop will be 90 years old Oct. 7, 2011.

She was born Oct. 7, 1921, to Chester Marvin and Pearl Enders Odiorne.

Her young years were spent in the Wyatt area before moving to Columbia City as a young adult.

On March 10, 1942, she married Monroe Kitson, who died Nov. 16, 1993. She then married Robert Bishop on May 25, 1996, who died July 6, 2000.

She has two children, Penny Snyder and Ray (and spouse Michele) Kitson. A daughter, Betty Pontzius is deceased. 

Her children invite family and friends to an open house Oct. 9 from 1 to 3 p.m. at 1169 Stone Ridge Drive, Columbia City, in the Deer Chase addition off U.S. 30 Depoy Drive.
