Lewis Bertsch, Warsaw, will celebrate his 90th birthday Thursday. He was born in Bourbon Sept. 19, 1924.
He graduated from Warsaw High School in 1942, and attended Indiana University after serving in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He married Elaine McAllister in 1957 in Watertown, S.D., and they are the parents of a daughter, Deb, York, Neb., and a son, Kent, Granger. They also have five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He is a lifelong member of the Warsaw Evening Lions Club. He was a  partner in the accounting firm Dahms and Yarian, Warsaw, retiring more than 20 years ago.
He is a member, elder and teacher at Warsaw Church of Christ.
