The Warsaw boys track and field team opened its season with a convincing win over the defending Huntington North Sectional champions Tuesday - the Huntington North Vikings.

The Warsaw Community High School baseball team may have been feeling fatigued after playing their third-straight game in sub-40 degree temperatures, but their coach was just feeling frustrated.

There were more walks than hits, but the Warsaw softball team took advantage of its opportunities Monday, leading to a 5-1 home win over Wawasee.

At 6-foot and 175 pounds, Zac Erba isn’t the typical center on a high school football team.Then again, Erba, a senior at Warsaw Community High School, isn’t the typical athlete – or student.

    After the event was cancelled last year due to weather, the Max Truex Tiger Invitational got back on track Friday at the Tiger Athletic Complex.

Powered by a fast start, good defense and a battle by its starting pitcher, the Warsaw softball team advanced to today’s sectional final with a 6-4 win over conference rival Northridge Friday night.

SYRACUSE – On any given night, said Warsaw tennis coach Rick Orban, any team can win.In terms of sectional play over the last decade, however, no team has been able to knock off Orban's Lady Tigers.

    The Warsaw girls track and field team celebrated its second championship in a week and its fifth sectional title in five years Tuesday at the Tiger Athletic Complex.
