‘Schools Of Kosciusko County’ Book Is Ready For Pickup

“The Schools of Kosciusko County 1835-1975” is available for pickup at the Old Jail Museum, 121 N. Indiana St., Warsaw. The book has been recognized as a Bicentennial Legacy Project, and the Kosciusko County Historical Society Genealogy Group was awarded a grant by the Indiana Genealogical Society to purchase and distribute copies around the county. A copy of the book will be donated to Bell Memorial Public Library, Milford Public Library, North Webster Community Library, Pierceton Public Library, Syracuse Public Library, Warsaw Community Public Library, Winona Museum of History, Lawrence D. Bell Museum, Syracuse-Wawasee Museum, Etna Green Museum, Warsaw Community Schools, Wawasee Community School Corp., Whitko Community School Corp., Tippecanoe Valley School Corp. and Triton School Corp. Anyone who can identify those unnamed in the book is asked to contact the KCHS Genealogy Group. The book may be picked up at the Old Jail Museum from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. Anyone who did not preorder a book may purchase one for $45.
