Posted

Janet Lynn Patrick, of Claypool, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, June 23, 2025, at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne, at the age of 71.
Janet was a devoted pastor, pastor's wife, a loving mother, grandmother, sister, a faithful and loyal member of the church, and a true daughter of God!
She was born on April 25, 1954, in Rochester, to Geraldine “Gerry” Miller Manns and Eugene “Gene” Manns. Janet lived her entire life in Kosciusko County, and attended Warsaw High School. On Nov. 10, 1970, she married the love of her life, Pastor Ronnie Lee Patrick. They were blessed to have celebrated 54 years of marriage together before Janet passed away. Their shared love of pastoring the Word of God to others continuously strengthened their bond and they always supported each other in all of their endeavors.
Janet was a stay-at-home mom and a constant companion to her husband, Ronnie. A very involved pastor’s wife at their church, New Beginnings Church and World Outreach in Warsaw. She dearly loved her church family, a constant prayer warrior for their congregation as well as for her own family. Janet was always glad to lend a helping hand whenever and wherever needed.
She was a wonderful mother, often spending time with her children and grandchildren, who were constantly at her side. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Pastor Ronnie Patrick, Claypool; three daughters: Angela (Aaron) Robbins, Pierceton; Rebecca (Charles) Mitchell, Elkhart; and Veronica (David) Doss, Akron. She leaves behind her 10 beloved grandchildren: Avery (Montanna) Robbins, Ashlynn (Brady) Herendeen, Alex Robbins, Kirstyn (Andros) Gonzalez, Cole, Brady and Christopher Mitchell, Jacob and Hunter Eherenman and Layla (James) Barltley; and nine great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister, Diana (Dennis) Yoder, Warsaw; and her brother, Ronald Manns, Akron. She was preceded in death by her father, Gene Manns in 2017; mother, Gerry Manns in 2022; sister, Patricia Ann Manns; and one great-grandchild.
Friends and family may visit from 3 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 26 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw. Janet’s life will be celebrated with a service at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 27 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home and officiated by Pastor Bryan Koorey.
