Janet Joan Bell, of Winona Lake, passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital at the age of 85.
Born on Dec. 7, 1939, in Plymouth, she was the daughter of Vernon and Maxine Morris Goddard.
After graduating from Plymouth High School, she went on to pursue her career in cosmetology, allowing her to work in her home and take care of her family. Her love for family was evident in everything she did.
Janet was an avid player of games, often found enjoying euchre and bingo with friends at Grace Village. Her devotion to her loved ones was a cornerstone of her existence, and she found immense joy in her role as a mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Vickie Bell; and her cherished grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Michael and Joshua Bell, who will carry her memory forward.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Maxine Goddard; her first husband, Peter Bell; her second husband, Paul Abercrombie; her sister, Carolyn Goddard; and her brother, James Goddard.
Titus Funeral Home is entrusted with the care of Janet. She will be laid to rest at Mock Cemetery in North Webster.
