Frances Ann Ludwig Dorsey, 74, of Argos, passed away June 25, 2025, at 5:05 a.m. in Stillwater Hospice Home, Fort Wayne.
On Jan. 19, 1951, in Argos, Frances was born to Francis “Abe” Ludwig and Violet Sarber Ludwig. She’s lived in the Argos community all of life.
On Aug. 7, 1979, she married Floyd Dorsey and together they shared the past 46 years together.
Frances worked at R.R. Donnelley as Roll-Tinder for nearly 40 years.
She is survived by her husband, Floyd Dorsey, of Argos; children: Chayne Butler, of Plymouth; Kelly Hill and husband Richard, of Plymouth; Chris Butler and wife Ana, of San Diego, Calif.; Amber Trump and husband Jason, of Argos; and Amy Coplen and husband Joshua, of Argos; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and one soon to arrive; brother, David Ludwig, of Bremen; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Bobby Kring, Michael Kring, Charles Kring and Kenneth Ludwig; sisters: Donna Kring, Sue Feagles, Irene Creighbaum, Mary DeVos and Martha Muffley.
No services are planned at this time. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
