Nadine Grindle

Nadine Grindle passed away peacefully on April 26, 2025, at the age of 85.
Born on April 25, 1940, to Felix and Annie Mae Kittrell in Pascagoula, Miss., Nadine was a graduate of Mentone High School, class of 1958. She married her husband Darrell Grindle on June 9, 1963. They were married for 51 years before he passed away on July 1, 2017. She also had a career at Zimmer, where she worked diligently until her retirement in 1995.
Nadine was known for her vibrant personality and deep love for life. She was an active member of Warsaw First Brethren Church. Nadine had a special affinity for nature; her love for flowers was matched only by her passion for gardening, allowing her to create beautiful landscapes around her home. Additionally, she relished the excitement of going to the casino and playing the lottery, enjoying the thrill that came with it. Nadine found joy in living on Pike Lake, where she appreciated the beauty surrounding her.
She is survived by her children: Anthony Grindle, of Cromwell; Tamara (Rodney) Hunsberger, of Warsaw; and Hope Everly, of Warsaw. Her grandchildren, Josh Grindle, Matthew Everly, Amanda Everly, GayAnna Mosley, Elaine O'Hern, Rebeca Boyles, Cliff Burkhart, Nate Burkhart and Nanette Burkhart, will forever treasure the memories made with their grandmother. Nadine was also blessed with 20 great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy.
She is survived by her siblings, Linda Hurd, of New Mexico; and Thurman Kittrell, of Alabama; who shared many fond moments with her throughout her life.
Nadine was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Grindle; grandson, Austin Hunsberger; and daughter, Sue Burkhart. She was also preceded by her parents and siblings: Edward Kittrell, Maxine Kittrell, Ron Kittrell, Winfred Kittrell, Bill Romine Jr. and Deloris Morrison.
Arrangements are entrusted to Titus Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 2000 Sheridan St., Warsaw. Nadine will be buried at a later date next to her husband at Oakwood Cemetery.
