BOURBON – Edward “Eddie” Dennis Irvine, 75, of Argos, passed away on May 11, 2025, in his home.
Eddie was born to Robert and Lucille Thompson Irvine on Sept. 30, 1949, in Chicago. He married Beverly Houin in 1982, and she survives. He worked as a machinist at R.R. Donnelly in Warsaw for 35 years. He was a member of Grace Outreach Fellowship. He enjoyed hunting, woodworking, and watching western movies.
Eddie is survived by his wife, Beverly Irvine, of Argos; his sons, Dennis (Sherri) Irvine, of Plymouth; Chet (Amy) Irvine, of Bourbon; his stepson, Jason Gordon, of Argos; his stepdaughter, Karyn (Kevin) Mon, of Mount Carroll, Ill.; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and his granddogs, Lilly and Axel. Eddie was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert Irvine and Tim Irvine.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 15 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, 115 S. Main St., Bourbon. The funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. with Pastor Larrie Kreft officiating.
