NORTH MANCHESTER – June Darlene Shear died Feb. 13, 2025, at Timbercrest Healthcare Center in North Manchester.
She was born in Wabash County on March 13, 1940, to Harold and Mabel June Lauer Watson. On April 2, 1959, Darlene married Edward Schwartz at Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, Calif.
A private graveside will be held at South Whitley Cemetery at a later date.
For those who wish to honor the memory of Darlene Shear, memorial contributions may be made to the Timbercrest Charitable Assistance Fund, 2201 East Street, North Manchester, IN 46962; or Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 113 W. Main St., North Manchester, IN 46962.
The family has entrusted McKee Mortuary with care and final arrangements.
