Larry Joe Patrick Sr., of Warsaw, passed away at 10:45 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 26, 2024, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne at the age of 69.
He was born on Feb. 23, 1955, in Warsaw, to a large family. He was one of eight children born to Arminia Williams Patrick and Jack Patrick.
Larry had no problem convincing a lovely lady by the name of Rhonda Renee Black to marry him. On Aug. 18, 1982, they were married and were blessed with raising three children who later made them proud grandparents and great-grandparents. They celebrated 41 years of marriage together before Rhonda passed away on Jan. 18, 2024.
For 30 years, Larry faithfully earned an honest living as a hardworking man at Dalton Foundry in Warsaw. He retired in 2017 as a grinder. Larry and Rhonda were partners in everything they did in their lives. He enjoyed simply spending time with his wife and family and over the years created great memories from their many trips camping and fishing. He enjoyed the simple things in life and found comfort in being with his family and close friends.
Larry will be lovingly remembered by his son, Larry Patrick Jr., Warsaw; two daughters, Jessica Patrick, Warsaw; Nancy (Kyle) Lilves, Plymouth; three grandchildren: Taesha Senders, Aizlynn Senders and Skyler Patrick; and three great-grandchildren: Ava, Athena and Armani. Also surviving is his sister, Virginia Rivera, Florida; and six brothers: Dannie Patrick, Africa; Ronnie (Janet) Patrick, Claypool; Jimmy (Edwina) Patrick, Warsaw; Billy (Susan) Patrick, Akron; Steven (Lorrie) Patrick, Fla.; and Morris Patrick, Sidney. He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife, Rhonda.
Larry’s family will mourn his passing and have a private celebration of life at a later date. Thoughts and prayers are appreciated. Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.
Online condolences may be sent through the funeral home’s website at www.redpathfruthfuneralhome.com.
