Paul Dean Freed, 78, resident of Grace Village Retirement Community in Winona Lake, died Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2024, at Grace Village Health Care.
He was born Nov. 12, 1945, in Chicago, to Kathryn Metzger Freed Whistler and Leonard Freed. Paul served in the Army National Guard.
Paul was married Dec. 3, 1967, in Plymouth, to Mary Ann Cripe, who died Dec. 14, 2022.
Paul’s life will be celebrated with a memorial service at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 4 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw, and officiated by Pastor Denny Wilson. Friends and family may visit prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place at a later date at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Memorial donations may be directed to the American Lung Association, 115 W. Washington St., Suite 1180-South, Indianapolis, IN 46204.
