Lost Moral Compass

It seems to me that the Republican Party, that used to be known as “The moral majority” has abandoned their position on law and order, honesty, high moral standards and other conservative values that they have long been remembered for. It seems to me they have lost their moral compass.
My question is: Is their nominee to be president of the United States the very best candidate they have to offer?
The person they are asking us to vote for is a convicted felon in a porn case by a jury of his peers. They say no problem, don’t matter, let’s make him the president of the U.S.A.
Also, he was found guilty of fraud in his business dealings in his big corporation. The party says that doesn’t matter. No problem here, let’s make him the president of the USA.
On January 6, 2020, he and his MAGA group broke into the People’s house in an attempt to overturn the election he lost by the choice of the people. This caused up to $2 million in damages to the to the building where the vice president was fulfilling his legal duty in approving the election. By the way, legal charges pending in this case. His party says, no problem. Let’s just make him the president of the United States.
As recent as this week, their candidate lied about FEMA help to the poor souls in storm ravaged areas, causing confusion in the minds of these affected people. This week it was revealed that this candidate for president has been in contact with the Russian President several times. Also sending him a covid testing kit to Putin when Americans were having a hard time getting them.
The problems this candidate has is the result of his bad behavior. Neither he or his party will not assume responsibility for this behavior but blame democrats, the media and the legal system.
The incidents stated above reveal the presents of a disrespect for law and order, an absence of moral behavior and compassion and other attributes missing in anyone running for the president of the United States. But the Republican Party says, that doesn’t matter let’s make this man the president of the United States.
This party has lost its moral compass.
