Foellinger Foundation Awards $10,000 To Easterseals

FORT WAYNE — Easterseals Northern Indiana was recently awarded a $10,000 capacity building grant from Foellinger Foundation.
Easterseals Northern Indiana will use the grant funds to contract with Sue Ehinger, an executive leadership coach, to support the leadership team in establishing and implementing core competencies for roles throughout the organization, according to a news release from Easterseals Northern Indiana.
Easterseals Northern Indiana is the parent entity of Easterseals Arc of Northeast Indiana and Cardinal Services.
The initiative will form a clear set of expectations and skills required for each position at every level of the organization. The core competencies will:
• Provide a foundation for staff members to excel in their roles and contribute to the overall success of the organization
• Help set specific expectations for each position
• Align expectations of staff with the organization’s purpose, values and strategic plan
The core competencies will help strengthen the workforce at Easterseals Arc in Fort Wayne, Easterseals Passages in Columbia City, Easterseals RISE in Angola and Cardinal Services in Warsaw.
