• 4:15 p.m. Wednesday - Jeffery Norman Henk, 45, of 3361 Oak Pointe Crossing, Warsaw, arrested on a warrant. Bond: $500.
• 4:54 p.m. Wednesday - Shelby Ann Shepherd, 50, of 8991 E. CR 350N, Pierceton, arrested on two charges of felony failure to appear. No bond set.
• 6:56 p.m. Wednesday - Saharah Mary Smith, 23, Fort Wayne, arrested for possession of cocaine or narcotic drug, possession of marijuana/hash oil/hashish and possession of paraphernalia. Bond: $5,250.
• 7:24 p.m. Wednesday - Earl E. Myers Jr., 49, of 2575 E. Center St., #112, Warsaw, arrested for child molestation. Bond: $50,250.
• 9:35 a.m. Thursday - Gretchen Elizabeth Carter, 50, of 2519 E. Center St., #138, Warsaw, arrested for felony failure to appear. No bond set.
• 1:58 p.m. Thursday - Benigno Godolfino Lucas Perez, 23, of 3762 W. Old 30, #21E, Warsaw, arrested for operating a motor vehicle without ever obtaining a license. Bond: $500.
• 2:35 p.m. Thursday - Steven Ray Bean, 48, of 347 E. Levi Lee Road, Warsaw, arrested for leaving the scene of an injury crash. Bond: $500.

• 12:39 p.m. Wednesday - 2211 E. Center St., Warsaw. SUV hit two unattended vehicles registered to Nathan N. York, East CR 150N, Pierceton; and Lasting Change Inc., Fort Wayne. Driver: Charles N. Bremer, 77, West CR 600S, Claypool. Injury: Bremer had an abrasion to the elbow/lower arm. Damage: $10,000-$25,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.
• 2:46 p.m. Thursday - 700 W. CR 300N, Warsaw. Semi-trailer-tractor left road, went through embankment, went over several curbs and hit Texas Roadhouse. Driver: Lloyd D. Howard, 77, Culver. Injury: Howard was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. Damage: Over $100,000. WPD.

• 5:11 a.m. Aug. 3 - Intersection of Crystal Lake Road and North CR 650W, Warsaw. Pickup hit deer. Driver: Ty D. Ferry, 22, Tippecanoe. Damage: $10,000-$25,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated.
• 10:42 p.m. Thursday - Intersection of South Ind. 19 and East Ind. 10, Etna Green. SUV hit deer. Driver: Brian P. Leal, 46, East Pearl Street, Mentone. Damage: $10,000-$25,000. KCSO.
• 5:55 p.m. Thursday - Intersection of North Parker Street and U.S. 30, Warsaw. SUV-car collision. Drivers: Kristen H. Garcia, 33, West Main Street, Warsaw; Fatima Roque, 18, Warbler Lane, Warsaw. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. WPD.

Sally Lou Lamirand, of Warsaw, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2024, at Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital in Warsaw at the age of 80.

Robert Allen Bullock
After a brief illness, Robert Allen Bullock passed away on Sept. 4, 2024, at the age of 85.

Family Safety Day Offers A Lot Of Activity In One Location
Whether it was the helicopters, demonstrations, information booths, a chance to interact with first responders, boat rides, great weather to be outdoors, free swag or the free Kona Ice, lots of families turned out Saturday for the annual Family Safety Day at Central Park.
