Leo and Phyllis Boyer will celebrate their 65th anniversary on Thursday.

They were married in the McClain Chapel on the Grace College campus by the groom’s father,?Dr. James Boyer, on June 23, 1957.

They have three daughters: Barbara Bakhit, Cathy Innes and Patti Minear and are grandparents to five grandsons.

Leo and Phyllis are both retired from?Grace College but manage to keep busy with family, friends and home projects. They are planning to celebrate the event with longtime friends with a dinner and an evening out.
