Reed Running for Circuit Court Judge

Michael W. Reed has filed to run for the position of Kosciusko County circuit court judge in the May Republican primary election.

Reed, a life-long resident of Warsaw, has practiced law in the area for 30 years. He is a partner in the Warsaw law firm of Reed and Earhart, where the practicing attorneys include his father, Max Reed.

Reed has extensive experience including criminal, municipal, administrative and family law.

“I am confident in my capabilities as a judge, and I wish to continue the tradition of fine judicial officers who have served Kosciusko County,” said Reed.

In addition to his legal experience, Reed believes in the Warsaw community and has been very involved with a variety of community organizations including representing the Beaman Home both as a board member and board president, United Way campaign committee member and a member of the Kosciusko County Child Protection Team.

“The Warsaw area is a tremendous community and has given much to myself and my family. I am grateful for the opportunity to show my gratitude by seeking this judicial position,” said Reed.

Reed also currently serves as a member of the Wayne Township Advisory Board and Warsaw-Wayne Township Fire Territory Board. He is a graduate of Warsaw Community High School, earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and attended Vanderbilt University School of Law.
