To recognize their 55th year in business, Rabb/Kinetico Water Systems employees and Rabb owners, George and Don Clemens, agreed to celebrate by donating 55 cents of every bag of salt purchased at the Warsaw location to Combined Community Services' "Gift of Warmth." Donations were made from salt sales in November, December and January.

"The community really came out and supported this promotion, way beyond our expectations," said Don Clemens. "George and I saw salt sales rise dramatically and our customers' purchases sent $8,268 to Combined Community Services - more than twice what we expected. This is a caring program for our community, because it keeps the lights and heat turned on for county residents who need it. We couldn't be happier with the results."

George Clemens said, "Besides helping neighbors, the best part is that NIPSCO matches contributions dollar for dollar, so over $16,000 went into local homes."

Cindy Jackson, energy assistance and weatherization program manager for NIPSCO, said, "We're grateful for the great effort Rabb/Kinetico put forth to help keep Kosciusko County residents warm. NIPSCO appreciated the community partnership with CCS."

Lewis Jones and Peggi Lisenbee-Wright, CCS, called the Rabb/Kinetico contribution the largest of its kind in the county. "It enabled us to match the funds committed by NIPSCO," said Executive Director Jones. "Without Rabb's help, I don't think we could have met our goals."[[In-content Ad]]
